The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is pleased to announce the 2019 Summer Professional Development Provider (PD) Registry Application for those interested in becoming approved and added to our online Registry of 300 approved PD Providers! This year, the PD Provider Registry application window will open during the summer months starting July 22nd through September 20th. We welcome a variety of Providers, i.e., professional organizations, non-public schools, not-for-profit organizations, private and for profit organizations, individuals, educational partnerships, corporations, educational agencies, and associations whose PD program demonstrates characteristics of the Massachusetts Standards for High Quality Professional Development. The application will also serve those who would like to renew an expired or soon to expire approval, as well as PD programs that would like to add new content area offerings to an already approved application not yet up for renewal. Reminder: Providers must renew every three years. If you have an application that has been on file for three or more years, it's time to renew!
The PD Provider Registry application link (available July 22nd), and the application template may be found at Resources and Tools for PD Providers.
Note: Although the application period begins on July 22nd, no applications will be reviewed until the window closes on September 20th, however, applications will be reviewed in the order they are received.
