The Department has moved to 135 Santilli Highway in Everett. The Department's office and Licensure Welcome Center are open. The new location has free parking and is a short walk from the Wellington station on the MBTA's Orange Line.

December 17th Board Meeting Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather

The regular meeting of the Board of Elementary & Secondary Education and the joint meeting of the Board of Elementary & Secondary Education and Board of Higher Education, both scheduled to take place at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner on Tuesday, December 17, are cancelled due to inclement weather. We made this decision out of an abundance of caution and in the interest of safety. The items on the BESE agenda will be rescheduled for a future meeting and the joint meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.
