Bell Atlantic is pleased to announce that applications are being accepted for its fourth annual EdLink Awards program that supports creative education in Massachusetts classrooms. The purpose of this awards program is to help school districts and their community partners develop innovative programs and activities that improve student learning through the use of technology and related activities.
These awards comprise the in-school component of Bell Atlantic's $1 million Community Connections initiative, which recognizes that quality education during and after school hours is critical to assure student success. This year, Bell Atlantic is pleased to introduce a new Teacher Internship Awards category, and encourages teachers and school districts to submit proposals to Bell Atlantic's EdLink Awards: Linking Massachusetts Students to the Future.
To receive a copy of the RFR, contact Bell Atlantic at www.bellatlanticfoundation.com, or call 617-743-5274. Deadline for proposals is March 24. Awards will be announced later this spring.
