The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE), Office for Nutrition, Health and Safety Programs has three Webinar training sessions for Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) FY 2013 returning sponsoring agencies.
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires that program administrators and/or key staff attend one of these sessions
. Non-attendance at the required sessions may delay SFSP approval and/or participation in the FY 2013 Summer Food Service Program. Each training will review management and administrative responsibilities required by USDA.
Mandatory SFSP Sessions
Returning sponsors
will receive a program overview with special emphasis on operational and administrative duties and responsibilities via an online Webinar. Access to the webinar is available from any computer that has access to the internet.
To view the Webinar, you will be required to have Adobe Flash on your computer
. Two days prior to the first scheduled Webinar related documents will be posted to the Online Document and Reference Library in the ESE Security Portal. The 2013 SFSP application will be submitted and renewed online. In addition,
all SFSP claims will be processed electronically in the online security portal
