Did you take Computer-Based PARCC this year? If yes, you are cordially invited!

Educational Technology Directors who took part in this year's field test of the PARCC Computer Based Assessment are cordially invited to attend one of the four specific dates on the PARCC Listening Tour dedicated to Ed Tech Professionals. The Department is partnering with the state's Readiness Centers to organize a series of listening sessions targeting district- and school-level PARCC test administrators (Principals, Instructional Coaches, Classroom Teachers, Special Ed Teachers, and other educators who proctored the field test) to get your feedback on the setup and administration of the PARCC field test. This "listening tour" will be a great opportunity for Department leadership to directly hear your concerns and ideas to make improvements to PARCC before it counts next year. Please note that there are eight dates on the full listening tour; however, four of these dates will have specific break-out sessions for Education Technology Directors. The Ed Tech specific sessions will focus on best practices for planning, setup, administration, staff training for PARCC and planning of purchases and upgrades. We will also spend some time discussing the necessary tech skills our students need for online assessments. It is a great opportunity for Ed Tech Directors to network with each other about their PARCC experience. All sessions are from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Preregistration is not required, but recommended to help us better plan each event.
