Updates on Release of Preliminary Spring 2015 MCAS Results

ELA Student Growth Percentiles (SGPs)

The Department posted .csv files with ELA SGPs for grades 4–8 on June 30. Grade 10 SGPs are expected to be posted to school and district dropboxes by July 3. Results for other tested grades and subjects will be available according to the 2015 Assessment and Accountability Data Review and Release Schedule Download PDF Document  Download MS WORD Document.

Information Regarding ELA Compositions Receiving a Preliminary Score of "NS"

All ELA Compositions that receive a preliminary score of "NS" (no score) are reviewed during the summer to determine if a score can be assigned. In past years, about one-third of Compositions that have been designated NS in June are assigned a score during the summer review. Revised ELA scores, with updated growth scores, will be reported with full preliminary results in early August.

Release of Preliminary MCAS Student Rosters and Multiple-Choice Results Interpretive Guide

The Department will post partial preliminary MCAS student rosters, as well as the 2015 MCAS Multiple-Choice Interpretive Guide, to school and district dropboxes by July 3. line Subscriber Information Principals, MCAS test coordinators, PARCC test coordinators, special education directors, and ELL directors receive this update based on contact information submitted to the Department.
