Information Regarding ELA Compositions Receiving a Preliminary Score of "NS"

All ELA Compositions that receive a preliminary score of "NS" (no score) are reviewed during the summer to determine if a score can be assigned. In past years, about one-third of Compositions that have been designated NS in June are assigned a score during the summer review. Revised ELA scores, with updated growth scores, will be reported with full preliminary results in early August.
