WIOA FAQs-Local Funding Agreements for One-Stop Infrastructure Costs PY2016

Dear Directors, On January 28, 2016, the Departments of Labor and Education released answers to frequently asked questions related to specific WIOA requirements for local funding agreements for one-stop infrastructure costs in FY17 (PY2016). The infrastructure requirements specified under WIOA will not need to be in place for next fiscal year FY17 (PY2016). The current agreements under WIA suffice for next year. Programs will continue as they did in the current fiscal year. The infrastructure cost agreements will need to be in place for FY18 (PY2017). I encourage you to review the attached information and share it with interested stakeholders. This information and other WIOA resources are posted on OCTAE's resource page, as they become available.
