In June of this year the Board of Education amended the educator licensure regulations to assist educators who applied prior to recent changes to the regulations and were on track to qualify for a license except that they encountered an extreme hardship or just missed qualifying for a license when the new regulations went into effect.
As a result of this new provision, the Office of Educator Licensure has developed guidelines for this process. Individuals seeking to qualify for the Commissioner's Determination must complete the request form.
Completed forms and all appropriate documentation pertaining to the licensure matter can be mailed to the Department of Education's Office of Educator Licensure or brought to the Service Counter at our offices on the third floor of 350 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148.
