Dear Mr. Stone: Thank you for submitting your approved private special education program's Program Review Corrective Action Plan Progress Reports through the Web Based Monitoring System (WBMS). The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education ("Department") has completed its review and is advising you of the following approval status for the programs listed above:

Full Approval - Privately Operated Programs

As a result of the Department's review of the Program Review Corrective Action Plan Progress Reports through WBMS, the Department has determined that the programs listed above have now met the Department's specified requirements. Based on this review, your private school programs will now receive an updated status of "Full Approval." This Full Approval will continue until the 2019-2020 school year, during which time the next regularly scheduled Mid-cycle Review will be conducted. The approval will be contingent upon continued compliance with all regulations contained within 603 CMR 28.00 "Special Education Regulations" and 603 CMR 18.00 "Program and Safety Standards for Approved Public or Private Day and Residential Special Education School Programs." The Department may change this approval status at any point during this period, as provided under 603 CMR 28.09, if circumstances arise that warrants such a change. Please be advised that the attached Department Approval Certificates must be conspicuously posted in a public place within the programs as required by 603 CMR 28.09.
