As part of the state as a partner webinar series, ACLS and UMass Amherst Center for Educational Assessment (CEA) will facilitate a webinar focused on assessment policies, periods of participation and assessment support. The webinar will be offered on January 24, from 10 to 11:30 am (snow date January 31, 10-11:30 am).

In order to manage the volume of questions typical of such webinars, participants are encouraged to email questions related to the above webinar topics prior to the webinar date to Dana Varzan-Parker, Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Specialist, at dvarzan-parker@doe.mass.edu .
The Mathematics and Adult Numeracy Curriculum and Instruction PD Center is conducting a short survey to obtain information on the kinds of math curricula adult education programs use and to better understand how to effectively support math teachers increase rigor and align math instruction to the CCR standards.
To ensure the survey reaches all math teachers in the field, program directors are kindly asked to email Donna Curry (donnac@gwi.net) the names and email addresses of their teachers who teach math classes. These can be stand-alone math classes or ABE, ASE, HiSET, Bridge to College, or classes that integrate math along with other content area.
Please send your list of math teachers' email addresses to Donna Curry by January 22, 2020.

ACLS is looking for seven adult education directors and adult education teachers to serve in a curriculum, instruction and assessment working group whose main role is to advise ACLS on policies, professional development and support related to teaching, learning and testing.
Eligible practitioners are encouraged to submit an online application at the link below:

Programs are allowed to use the FY20 increase funds to pay for the hours of staff participating in PALS.
