MCAS- Alt Update: Schools do NOT need to submit MCAS-Alt portfolios by April 3.

Important Announcement from the MCAS Office:

We appreciate that many teachers are concerned about completing and submitting their students' portfolios in light of the unprecedented impact of Covid-19 and the closure of schools.

Schools do NOT need to submit MCAS-Alt portfolios by April 3 and should NOT schedule any shipment pick-ups at this time! We will notify schools at a later date with further developments about portfolio submission.

Additionally, please do not attempt to meet with parents to review their child's portfolio and obtain a signature. Submission of a signed Verification Form will not be required this year.

We appreciate the diligence of teachers who may already have completed their students' portfolios or who are conscientiously working to finish them.
