Massachusetts Work Immersion Network RFP Posted

DESE is now accepting applications for participation in the Massachusetts Work Immersion Network (MassWIN) pilot, which will launch in mid-January and run through the end of May 2021. The Competitive RFP has been posted here: FY2021 Fund Code 425: Massachusetts Work Immersion Network (MassWIN).

Eligible applicants are schools/districts with designated, established Innovation Pathways in healthcare and social assistance and approved Chapter 74 programs in programming and Web development or information support services and networking.

An LEA may submit one application for a maximum award of $15,000.00, to stipend up to three educators (two classroom teachers and one internship/co-op coordinator) at a rate of $5,000.00 per educator.

A total of 18 educators from six different schools/districts will be selected.

Grant applications must be submitted via email to jennifer.a.gwatkin@mass.gov and received by the Department by 5:00 p.m on Friday, December 18, 2020.
