The Department has moved to 135 Santilli Highway in Everett. The Department's office and Licensure Welcome Center are open. The new location has free parking and is a short walk from the Wellington station on the MBTA's Orange Line.

Special Education

DESE providing PD and TA for schools and districts to support the adoption of the new IEP forms.

DESE will be providing professional development and technical assistance for schools and districts to support the adoption of the new IEP forms. Office hour sessions will be held in June and throughout the 2023-2024 school year. The purpose of monthly office hours is to provide ongoing clarification and guidance to schools and districts on IEP form content and implementation. Office hours will be held virtually via Zoom and will require advance registration. We would encourage school and district staff to submit specific questions in advance via the registration process.

The June office hours session is scheduled for Thursday, June 15th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. A registration link will be sent to special education administrators in early June.
