The Department seeks a vendor to provide teacher preparation and in-service professional development (PD) to increase the number of MA educators licensed as teachers of Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing — American Sign Language/Total Communication.

The Department is seeking one vendor to build upon and enhance collaborative, sustainable models for increasing the field of educators teaching Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (D/HH) students who communicate using American Sign Language/Total Communication.

This procurement is in support of the Department's Educational Vision and strategic objectives to develop and sustain a workforce that is diverse, culturally responsive, well-prepared and committed to continuous improvement, so that all students, particularly students from historically underserved groups and communities, have equitable access to effective educators.
