As part of the Massachusetts Comprehensive System of Personnel Development activities, the Department of Education has posted the following RFRs on the Comm-PASS Procurement Access and Solicitation System:

RFR - 07SEPLT1: The Massachusetts Department of Education is seeking multiple vendors to provide quality professional development related to special education programmatic and regulatory issues in the areas of:

Assessing English Language Learners (ELL) with Disabilities
Effective Evaluation of Special Education Programs
Instructional Methods and Materials for Increasing Accessibility to Elementary and Middle School Science Curricula for Students with Visual Impairments
Managing Behavior in an Inclusive Classroom
Occupational Therapy Services in Educational Settings
Teaching Strategies for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the General Education Classroom
Teaching Literacy Skills to Students who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing
Teaching Self-Determination and Self-Advocacy Skills to Students with Disabilities

The audience for the professional development will be special and general education administrators, educators, paraprofessionals, and parents.
