In preparation for the upcoming administration of MCAS tests, the Department has posted the Spring 2009 Principal's Administration Manual, test administrator's manuals, and other resources at www.doe.mass.edu/mcas/testadmin/. The Spring 2009 Principal's Administration Manual contains important information on policies and procedures for your school principals. This information is intended to support the appropriate administration of state-mandated assessments and communicate the responsibilities of principals. Of particular importance are the instructions for principals and superintendents to contact the Department at 781-338-3625 to report any testing irregularities. I encourage you to review these requirements with your school administrators. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
