In accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations for Child Nutrition Programs 7 CFR 226, the sponsoring organizations listed with this announcement have been selected for a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Administrative Review for the 2010 fiscal year (October 1, 2009-September 30, 2010).

A Child Nutrition Program Reviewer will contact the sponsoring organization in advance to schedule the review.

Program reviews are conducted with the intent of ensuring compliance, and to assist agencies in improving and strengthening program integrity and management at both the administrative and operational level.

This administrative review process evaluates the following information and procedures:

  • Licensing
  • Enrollment, Attendance and Eligibility
  • Meal count system and claim consolidation
  • Nutrition and Meal pattern requirements
  • Food service management and operational procedures
  • Health, safety and sanitation
  • Free and Reduced Price Meal application process including benefit issuance documentation
  • Civil Rights
  • Training and Monitoring
  • Documentation for revenues and expenditures for non-profit/profit status
