Update about the Grade 3 English Language Arts (ELA) Test Design

The spring 2010 grade 3 MCAS ELA Reading Comprehension test will include a new test question type: short response (SR). Students will answer four SR questions and will be able to earn up to two points on each SR question. The test will include multiple-choice questions and one four-point open-response question.
