Educator Effectiveness

Teacher Career Ladder Survey

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE) is seeking input on Teacher Leader Endorsements as part of a Career Ladder for Teachers. Historically, most teachers have few opportunities to advance in their careers while remaining in the classroom. ESE seeks to create opportunities for teachers to take on specialized roles and responsibilities in recognition of excellence in teaching, contributions to the school, and skillful collaboration with colleagues. In order to create a Career Ladder for teachers, ESE has committed to developing Endorsements, which will be optional certifications that a teacher could add to his/her license. ESE invites you to review and comment on the definition of proposed endorsements. Your feedback will be invaluable to ESE crafting clear definitions for each endorsement that represent the best thinking of the field. This survey should take about 5 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your time and thoughtful contributions to this work. http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1125482/Career-Ladders-for-Teachers-2013
