Alert: Fund Code 243 Extended Submission Deadline - Special Education: Planning or Development of Best Practices in Transition Assessment or Student Self-Determination Grant

The deadline to apply for the Fund Code 243 Special Education: Planning or Development of Best Practices in Transition Assessment or Student Self-Determination Program Improvement grant has been extended in order to allow more eligible applicants to participate. The new deadline for submission is December 31, 2013. Proposals must be received at the Department by 5:00 p.m. on the date due. Please note that the grant period remains the same: 243 funds may be expended from the date of approval to 6/30/2014. Eligible applicants are those public school districts, collaboratives, vocational-technical schools, and approved special education private schools that were accepted by the DESE to attend the April 24, 2013 DESE Secondary Transition Capacity-Building Conference in Marlborough, MA.
