Urgent MCAS Notice Regarding the Administration of the March ELA Composition Retest

Date:February 28, 2014
In anticipation of severe weather that may result in schools closings or delayed openings on Monday, March 3 (which is the date scheduled for the March ELA Composition Retest), the Department is issuing the following guidance to schools:
  • Schools that are open on March 3 should administer the ELA Composition test on that day.
  • Schools that are closed on March 3 should administer the ELA Composition test on Monday, March 10.
Schools with closures lasting more than one day, or other extraordinary circumstances, should contact the Department's Student Assessment Services Unit at 781-338-3625. Thank you.
