The Department has moved to 135 Santilli Highway in Everett. The Department's office and Licensure Welcome Center are open. The new location has free parking and is a short walk from the Wellington station on the MBTA's Orange Line.

SIMS December 1st Collection

The Department has begun the collection of the December 1 data for students with disabilities. These data are required for federal reporting purposes. Although the data are very similar to the SIMS data collected for October 1, the federal report does not allow us to use that reporting date. These data are due to the Department on January 6th. The collection process is the same as it was last year: district personnel submit the data files through the SPED MDCS application on the DOE security portal.
