Explanation of the EPIMS Summary Reports
October 2007 Collection Period

The following document provides information on the EPIMS Summary Reports available to districts after they submit the EPIMS collection. These reports can be found in the Reports orange arrow Summary Reports section of the EPIMS application. Reports are run automatically at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM each day. It is very important that the data in these reports be reviewed carefully before districts decide to certify their collections. Report 1 — EPIMS/DSSR Comparison

This report provides a comparison of the 2007 EPIMS collection to the October 2006 District and School Staffing Report (DSSR). Each data set is grouped into staffing categories and compared. The full-time equivalent (FTE) is listed and the percent change is calculated. This report is a useful tool to highlight any potential errors or omissions in the EPIMS collection.

Report 1b — EPIMS/EPIMS Comparison (pilot districts only)

This report provides a comparison of the 2007 EPIMS collection to the 2006 EPIMS collection. The report will be available in the EPIMS File Exchange at Drop Box Central on the next business day following submission.

Report 2 — Teacher and Paraprofessional: District Summary

This report provides a summary of teachers first by core academic subject and then by grade. The total FTE, FTE licensed, percent licensed, FTE highly qualified and the percent highly qualified are listed for each grouping. The report also lists the paraprofessionals by assignment type. The FTE, FTE qualified, and percent qualified information is listed for each.

Report 3 — Teacher and Paraprofessional: District Summary by School

This report provides the same data as report 2 but groups the teachers and paraprofessionals by the schools in which they work.

Report 4 — All Staff: District Summary

This report provides a summary of all staff working in the district. This includes those working at the district level and in all of the schools. The information is grouped into staffing categories by FTE.

Report 5 — All Staff: District Level and School Level Summary

This report provides a summary of all staff working in the district, grouped at the district level and by each school in the district. The information is grouped into staffing categories by FTE.

Report 6 — All Active Staff by Individual

This report provides a listing of staff reported with an active status (SR09 = 01—working). The individuals are grouped at the district level followed by a listing for each school. Within the district and school groups, staff are grouped by job classification (WA07) and then sorted by last name.

Report 7 — All On Leave and Exited Staff by Individual

This report provides a listing of staff reported with an inactive status (SR09 = 02—on paid leave, 03—on unpaid leave, or 04—exited).
