603 CMR 44.00:

Educator License Renewal

44.08: Application Process

(1) All applicants for license renewal shall submit the following to the Department:

  1. (a) a completed application, in the manner and form prescribed by the Department,

  2. (b) the required fee,

  3. (c) proof of sound moral character,

  4. (d) a statement, signed under penalties of perjury, that the candidate has completed all requirements for the license renewal, including earning the requisite number of PDPs under an Individual Professional Development Plan.

(2) Applicants who are employed by Massachusetts public schools shall submit a statement, signed under the penalties of perjury, indicating that they have either obtained their supervisor's final approval of their completed Individual Professional Development Plan, are relying on Educator Plans that complied with the requirements of 603 CMR 35.00 Evaluation of Educators, or both.
