2026-2027 Educational Stability Orientation Sessions

Join us for full-day, in-person training session to gain an overview and basic understanding of ensuring access to public school education for students who are homeless, in foster care, or from migratory or military-connected families. The training will cover federal and state educational rights, student needs, and best practices for providing support. These sessions are designed for homeless education liaisons, foster care points of contact, family engagement specialists, district staff, and administrators who support highly mobile students. State and local service providers, DCF social workers, and staff are welcome to attend.

Session Dates are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:

Each individual intending to join one of the sessions should complete an individual registration for accuracy of attendance.

Indicate the number of years you have been working for one or more of the Educational Stability Programs.

Note that registration items with an * are required. If you are from as a school district you can use the drop down to choose your district. If you are from DCF, you can type in your organization in the optional organizational line item but also have to choose a district to move forward in the registration; therefore, choose the district your office is located.

Also. lunch is on your own. you can bring your lunch or possibly purchase a lunch at the location or surrounding area.
