CSI Developed Teacher Recruitment Activities

Beginning in 2019, Commissioner Riley and DESE team members engaged in college recruitment activities an effort to speak directly with college students about DESE's priority to diversify the Commonwealth's teacher workforce. Since 2019, Commissioner Riley, representatives from DHE, and InSPIRED Fellows have partnered with the Commonwealth's two-and-four year public institutes of higher education and engaged with over 400 college students.
