The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has released a BID to procure a vendor to continue the administration of the Performance Assessment for Leaders (PAL). Currently registered candidates will be able to submit their task submissions by July 14, 2022 to be scored by August 11, 2022.
Following July 14, 2022, the PAL will have a brief pause in registration until DESE has finalized the vendor contract so that candidates do not register without knowing the next scoring window. Candidates with active registrations as of 7/15 may choose to either withdraw their registrations or leave them pending while the vendor contract is finalized. Portfolio artifacts will not be accessible during the pause.
Please note that in past years, the submission date following the July submission would occur in early October. DESE anticipates providing a submission date for candidates in October again once the vendor contract is finalized. DESE will share updated information when it becomes available.
