The Office for College, Career, and Technical Education is offering a webinar: Chapter 74 Nonresident Student Tuition Program. A non-resident student is a "student who has been, or seeks to be, admitted to a Chapter 74-approved program outside of her/his district of residence." (603 CMR 4.02) Once a non-resident student has been accepted to a receiving school for a Chapter 74-approved program and has been approved by the district of residence or the Department, the city or town of residence pays tuition to the receiving school and provides transportation. This webinar will include an overview of the Chapter 74 Non-resident Student Tuition Program and district responsibilities. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. This webinar is relevant to every district and would be of interest to superintendents, CTE Directors, School Counselors, and Admission Directors.
