Licensure Welcome Center closed between Monday, December 18th – Friday, January 5th

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is in the process of moving from 75 Pleasant Street in Malden to 135 Santilli Highway in Everett. As a result, Friday, December 15th will be the last day that the Licensure Office will welcome visitors choosing to receiving in-person assistance.

Between Monday, December 18th and Friday, January 5th, 75 Pleasant Street will not be open to the public and the Licensure Welcome Center will be closed. During this time, those needing licensure assistance can contact our Licensure Call Center at 781-338-6600. Our Licensure Call Center is open each business day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Licensure Welcome Center is scheduled to reopen on Monday, January 8th in our new location at 135 Santilli Highway in Everett, MA 02149. The Department's location is accessible via the MBTA's Orange Line and is a short walk from Wellington Station. In addition, free on-site parking is available.
