The Department posts an agenda and accompanying policy documents prior to each regular Board meeting. According to its by-laws, the Board shall discuss a matter of policy at one meeting and then vote on that policy matter at a subsequent meeting. In an emergency, or if the Board waives its by-law by a two-thirds vote of the members present, the Board may discuss and vote on a matter of policy at the same meeting.
The Department maintains Board documents online for a period of one fiscal year, after which those documents will be placed into archive.
