The table below provides an overview of the released spring 2026 MCAS test questions. The table displays the percentage of operational test questions (operational questions are those on which student scores are based). Test forms may also include field test and equating questions, which do not count toward student scores and are not released.
1 For Grades 3–8 ELA, the percentage of questions released varied by grade. Approximately 50% of operational questions were released across these grades.
2 For Grade 8 Civics, only the state performance task, not the end-of-course test, was released.
