Practice tests for all MCAS tests may be found on the MCAS Resource Center Civics Practice Tests webpage . The grade 8 civics practice test includes a state-level performance-based task and end-of-course (EOC) test questions. Additional released items from the 2023 civics pilot test may be found on the MCAS Resource Center Civics Released Items webpage.
This tutorial can be used to familiarize students with how to navigate the TestNav 8 computer-based environment (advancing, going back, tool bar, embedded supports and accommodations).
Each Grade 8 Civics MCAS item is aligned to a cognitive skill level, based on the Revised Bloom's taxonomy, which are described on the Cognitive Skill Level Descriptions for Grade 8 Civics MCAS Items webpage .
