The November/December 2012 MCAS retest results in English Language Arts (ELA) and/or Mathematics are scheduled to be available as follows:
Jan. 24, 2013student data file (.xls and .csv formats) available to schools and districts and student roster report (.pdf format) available to schools through DropBox Central at the Department's Security Portal at www4.doemass.org/auth/Login
Jan. 31, 2013student data available in the Department's Education Data Warehouse (EDW), also at www4.doemass.org/auth/Login, for conducting further analyses of the data
Feb. 12, 2013Parent/Guardian Reports received by superintendents and directors of charter schools, approved private special education schools, educational collaboratives, institutional programs, and adult/external diploma programs via UPS
Feb. 19, 2013 ELA Composition images available at the MCAS Service Center website at MCAS Service Center. To access this site, use the MCAS user name and password that will be mailed to you in early January 2013.
The Department's Security Portal is password protected. Each district's Directory Administrator is responsible for assigning the MCAS security role to appropriate district staff. If you need assistance accessing data on the Security Portal, please speak with the Directory Administrator in your district. A list of Directory Administrators by district is available at www.doe.mass.edu/infoservices/data/diradmin/list.aspx. Please note that the window for ordering March retest materials is January 7-28, 2013. If you have questions about the results, please call the Office for Student Assessment Services at 781-338-3625.
