DESE has organized Educator Preparation Program Approval expectations into six thematic categories, called Domains.
The domains are: The Organization, Partnerships, Continuous Improvement, The Candidate, Field-Based Experiences, and Instruction. Criteria in each domain are derived directly from the Program Approval Standards and are designed to distill high-level concepts into a set of concrete, actionable criteria.
The resources and guidance related to each domain are included here and are updated periodically.
