Welcome to Literacy Launch! Explore available opportunities and grants below.
Literacy Launch Institutes provide four days of differentiated professional learning for educators serving students from preschool through grade 3. The Institutes equip educators with evidence-based early literacy practices that celebrate students' cultural and linguistic strengths and help more students become confident readers and writers by the end of grade 3.
During Summer 2026, DESE hosted five Literacy Launch Institutes across Massachusetts, serving approximately 1,000 educators. Additional Institutes will be offered throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Ready to join us? Visit the Literacy Launch Institutes website —the central hub for all educator registration and program information-to learn about upcoming Institutes, join the mailing list, and stay up to date on new dates, locations, and registration opportunities.
