DESE website uses 3 different types of templates throughout the website.
A single column template consists of a header/footer and the main content.
A two column template consists of a header/footer, left navigation and the main content. The left navigation is used to navigate within a given subsite and it consists of two levels. The recomended display links for level 1 is up to eight links.
A three column template consists of a header/footer, left navigation, main content and the right column. The right column is used for featured and contact content.
