The Career Technical Education Advisory Committee Resource was developed to assist school/college educators in forming and utilizing Advisory Committees to support program quality and continuous improvement.
This resource is relevant to secondary and postsecondary schools supporting Career Technical Education CTE programs with federal Perkins funds, including Postsecondary Career Technical Education Programs, Career Connections (N74), and Innovation Career Pathways.
Establishing and operating an Advisory Committee will assist in meeting the requirement to involve representatives of business, labor organizations, representatives of special populations and other interested individuals in the development, implementation, and evaluation of all pathways in a robust and structured approach.
