Approved Special Education Schools have continued to incur extraordinary costs and experience economic challenges during the 2021-2022 school year (FY22). As such, two grant programs have been created for Approved Special Education Schools for the 2021-2022 school year: the Workforce Recruitment and Retention Assistance for Approved Special Education Schools (EAASES-Workforce) program, and the Emergency Assistance to Approved Special Education Schools (EAASES-II) program.

In order to apply for EAASES-Workforce, eligible entities must submit the following three completed documents to ASESGrants@mass.gov , preferably by February 1, 2022.
EAASES-Workforce grantees must submit the following end-of-year report to ASESGrants@mass.gov , by July 29, 2022.
In order to apply for EAASES-II, eligible entities must submit the following two completed documents to ASESGrants@mass.gov , preferably by February 1, 2022.
