The Department's Problem Resolution System Office (PRS) supports students, families, educators, and the community by providing clear, accessible information about educational rights and options. Additionally, we offer independent and impartial complaint processes designed to be non-adversarial in nature.
Through independent investigations and written decisions, PRS helps parties to understand their rights and obligations, address and resolve areas of noncompliance, and move forward collaboratively.
PRS believes that meaningful compliance leads to stronger systems, better student experiences, and improved outcomes for all students.
