The Department expects to release a competitive grant for FY2025 in the spring of 2024 and will host a preparing to write a 21st CCLC Grant Session on February 28th, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM for anyone interested in learning more about the federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Supporting Additional Learning Time (SALT) grant, eligibility, requirements, and grant application process.
This session is specifically geared towards those either new to the 21st CCLC competitive grant process, districts/ communities /organizations not previously funded, or anyone that would like to learn more about this funding opportunity. At this session we will share the purpose and priorities of the grant, eligibility, application process, and what interested applicants can be doing now to prepare to write their grant application.

New Grants Management System (GEM$)In order to apply for a Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 21st CCLC FC 647 Grant, your organization must be set up and trained to use the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's (Department's) new grants management system, Grants for Education Management System (GEM$). More details on the process will be provided during the February 28th, 2024 21st CCLC Information Session described above.
